Poems from Savannah Ikhmais
My heart stops, stop the clock
Record the time of my last hour
Place my secrets back and close the lock
Remember the me before things...
Weak souls break under pressure
And the strong take over life's lecture
The lecture of how the world turns
While civilization and humanity...
My breath puffs out into the frosty air
As a small cloud, quickly to disappear
My fingers are without feeling
The nights air is too...
The stress
Its crashing like waves
Their pounding,
They take me under, further
Further than i can take....
I fight to the top
My arms...
Life, it is too short and sweet,
But at times it's a bitter release.
Live while your lights still on.
May you make the most of the setting...
